6 straight seasons of 70+ steals, 2nd in ROY voting to Fernando Mania, 2600+ hits, .294 average. I think it's time for Tim to be in the HOF. (just my opinion)
If it weren't for Henderson, Raines was the premier lead-off man of his era and should be an easy in. Problem is, Henderson is not only the best lead-off hitter of all-time but one of the best all-around players of all-time, so anyone in his shadow looks not as good.
Agreed Tim Created runs and just did so many things well he is due to get in eventually. Love the blog check mine out http://truschoolsports.blogspot.com/ .
If/when he gets in, I think I may make the two-hour trip down to Coop.
ReplyDeleteOne of the most underrated players I know of.

ReplyDeleteThat said, Raines needs to be in.
