Remembering the insanity and hoping for this year

Insanity is all over the place here at my residence Those were the days.  Joey Bats was the big slugger in Toronto.  Just came out of nowhere and developed into a superstar.

And now we head to 2026 with a new cast and crew.  Vladdy Guerrero, George Spinger and a noteworthy group of players head toward another chance at the World Series.  Unfortunately, Bo Bichette has moved on.  We shall see if the replacement for him in the lineup will meet the expectations.

With the pitching signings they made, I am going to predict 90 wins.  I think this group, after what I saw in the playoffs, if they stay healthy, can produce some runs.

Here's hoping, Robert

  1. They were really good last year, and I bet they're just as good this year.

  2. Even though I'm a true blue Dodgers fan, I was very impressed with the Blue Jays, especially in the 2025 World Series. After the Blue Jays bullpen started wearing #51 on their caps during the Series, the Dodger players and fans really took notice and totally appreciate the kind gesture. Good luck to the Blue Jays and their fans!

  3. Good luck to the Jays this coming season! They have a great team, which I'm definitely expecting to make a playoff run.
On a side note, I love the John McDonald card

  5. I love to see the return of the (serial numbered) insanity! Toronto's still a good bet to do very well this year and I hope they push the Yankees way down in the standings.

  6. Good luck to your Jays! Out of all the AL East teams... I'll be rooting for them the most. Honestly I'll be happy for any AL East team that can beat out the Yankees.

P.S. Loved rooting for Joey Bats after that epic bat flip.
