It's been two weeks since I last posted, and a lot has happened. The stye in my right eye has decreased some, which does not require surgery. Thank goodness for that. I also will have cataract surgery on the left eye next Friday, which is very good news!!
I am looking forward to being able to see a lot better when that is done and start being able to do everything again in the collecting world, which means adding to my Vladimir Guerrero Jr. collection.
If you are wondering, I do not have anything of his in the past two years, so I'm sure there are tons out there to pick up. So, if you happen to have any out there to send my way, they will make me very happy.
I'm starting to see 2026 cards out there on the blogs, which is good. I hope to start picking some up after a couple of weeks so I can post them for all to see, so stay tuned.
To be honest, I missed all of 2025's colleting season, so if you have any suggestions for good looking set (insert, parallel or otherwise), please pass them along in the comments so I can pick and choose from the best of the best.
Thank you all, Robert

Sorry to hear about the stye...hope you get some relief soon! Best wishes on the surgery as well.
ReplyDeleteGet well, and I bet you get caught up faster than you think.
ReplyDeleteRobert,, get up here to Ocala, lots and lots of Vlad Jr in the dupes boxes, lots of them.
ReplyDeleteI think I've pulled two Vlad Jr.'s in 2026 Topps already.
ReplyDeleteCan't think of anything too exciting from 2025. I spent most of it chasing Heritage and ignoring everything else.
I hope the cataract surgery goes well and your eyes make a quick recovery
ReplyDeleteHave a safe and effective surgery! I'll keep an eye out for some Vladitos for you as well. And I'm glad to see that you've been back at it again for this long, hopefully without taking a lot out of you. Keep it up while you enjoy it and feel like it!
ReplyDeletea. Hope the cataract surgery goes well.
ReplyDeleteb. Topps has taken care of you. There are a ton of cheap 2025 and 2026 Vladito base cards, parallels, and inserts for you to collect. Some would say there are way too many.
Best of luck on the whole medical situation. Fingers crossed for you.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the surgery!
