I'll take 20 of these at actual book value versus what a site is selling it for.

Good Monday evening to all.  Figured you could either A) use a laugh, or B) try and warn an unsuspecting new card purchaser.  I ran across a website tonight while looking for images for a post I'm writing, and I found this:


HEY, THERE'S FREE SHIPPING!!  But hurry, there's only 3 left.  Seriously, are we still back in 1991?  The card lists for $1.50 in the price guide.   Oh wait, I found one for the Dodger fans out there....check it out


No, I did not make these ads up, these are actually on a website that sells sports memorabilia.  I remember watching Don West selling cards for the home shopping channels many years ago, and these 2 items brought all those memories flooding back....








Don't do it friends....I beg you....don't do it.....

    Wow, that's crazy. That '91 fleer update set - the entire set - is barely a $5 item.

    Indeed, that's why I had to look 2 or 3 times before I used the fire shot to pull up these screens. There are some reasonable deals, but these two were just ludicrous.

    The sad part is that, a lot of these people believe the stuff is worth what they're asking.
